Answer: Representation in editing occurs when editors across cultural differences, from diverse backgrounds are involved. When only dominant groups are represented, this can inhibit journalistic integrity, bc implicit bias happens when only one group is represented… therefore failing to speak for and to communities of diverse backgrounds. Journalism should represent all different people, and therefore these editors and reporters should look and sound like the people they serve.
